Honoring PBSO Deputies In The Wake Of Irma - Pt. 1

For "Protecting the Palm Beaches" over the next few weeks, I'll be bringing you stories of Palm Beach County Sheriff's Deputies who went above and beyond to help residents in the wake of Hurricane Irma.

We'll start by honoring the men and women who work in the Town of Lake Park Road Patrol, Detective Bureau and Community Policing unit.  They helped out residents who were without power by delivering hot meals through donations from local businesses.

Deputies also bagged and delivered 150 bags of ice to those families and helped clear downed trees and debris with the use of ATVs.

There were also the several deputies who served bottled water to residents living in hot homes in the Glades after Irma passed.

Check out the video above.
