FEMA Disaster Recovery Center Now Open In PBC

FEMA has opened a disaster recovery center in Palm Beach County for those who need help applying for federal assistance in the wake of Irma.  

The center is at the Carolyn Sims Center in Boynton Beach, along Northwest 12th Avenue and it's open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m until further notice, seven days a week.  

The feds have approved more than $163 million in grants for victims of Irma so far to fund temporary housing, home repairs and other expenses.
