3 Palm Beach County Beaches Closed To Swimming

The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County has issued a no-swim advisory for three area beaches.

The waters off Phil Foster Park on Singer Island, Jupiter Beach and Boynton Beach tested positive for high levels of potentially dangerous bacteria.

The cause of the spike in bacteria is unclear, but it's generally associated with wildlife, heavy recreational usage, high surf, high tides or runoff after heavy rains.

Testing is conducted every day.
