Most Florida Tolls Being Reinstated

Florida's Turnpike

Tolls are returning to the majority of the Turnpike and other Florida roadways after being suspended ahead of Hurricane Irma.

The governor had suspended all tolls around the state to help with evacuations back on September 5th.

The tolls will be reinstated at 12:01 Thursday morning, with the exception of the Turnpike's Homestead Extension, from south of the Don Shula Expressway (State Rd. 874) in Miami-Dade County to where it connects with U.S. One, leading to the Keys.

Tolls will remain suspended there to help Monroe County residents with recovery efforts.
