Rumors surrounding the days before "Glee" star Cory Monteith's sudden death have started to emerge.  Sources are telling "E! News" that on Saturday, the night of the actor's death, "numerous amounts of alcohol" was found in his hotel room at the Fairmont Pacific Hotel in Vancouver.

The official results of Monteith's autopsy are expected to be released later this week, but sources say he had been "partying with his friends" on Friday at "at least one club" in Vancouver.  Surveillance footage from the hotel reportedly shows him returning "alone" at around 2:00 a.m.

An insider tells "Us Weekly" that the news was particularly unexpected for Monteith's girlfriend Lea Michele, who he was reportedly planning on moving in with after returning from his trip.

Since the news of Monteith's death surfaced Saturday, fans have created a memorial in his honor on the sidewalk in front of the hotel, leaving flowers and letters.  At a previously scheduled "Glee"convention in England, fans were shocked by his passing.  One of its attendees tells "Entertainment Weekly" that the fans who had gathered there came together to grieve the loss of one the show's biggest stars.
