The future of the Jonas Brothers is looking more uncertain than ever, now that a rumored meeting scheduled for the three didn't go as planned.
Sources tell "E! News" that Kevin, Joe and Nick were planning on sitting down to talk about their musical differences in New York over the weekend. The brothers were supposed to speak about the work they already recorded for their album and figure out how to address the abrupt cancellation of their tour last week. A rep said at the time that there was a "deep rift" between the three.
But the meeting didn't pan out because middle brother Joe decided to stay in Los Angeles. The 24-year-old was photographed with a man named Mike Bayer, who's been identified as a "sober companion" to the stars. Bayer was formerly the recovery manager of Joe's ex, Demi Lovato. It's unclear whether Joe has hired Bayer, or if the two are just friends.
